• I am known as Dianna.

  • I graduated from University of Essex in 2002 with a BSc in Computer Science. In 2003, I gained a MSc in Interactive Multimedia from Heriot-Watt University and a MSc in Computer Games Systems from Nottingham Trent University in November 2009.

  • In July 2010, I joined one of the oldest independent game studios in the UK, Eurocom Developments Ltd., where I held the role of Tools programmer (Core Technology team). I was involved in the development of various applications used throughout the company and I am credited in Rio, Disney Universe, Goldeneye 007 Reloaded, Harry Potter Kinect and 007 Legends.

  • Sadly, in November 2012 Eurocom went into administration and in January 2013, I joined Inspired Gaming Group. My current role is Content Developer, where I develop casino titles (slots and roulette games) for the UK market.

  • My interests lay in the fields of computer generated graphics (both 2D and 3D), computer generated image processing, Artificial Intelligence, 3D modelling through packages or scripting (VRML), user interface design and in general, I enjoy developing applications that achieve interactivity through visual and audio means. The main languages I use for coding are C, C++, C# and Java and I like learning new stuff, such as tools, APIs and (even more) languages. Occassionally, I enjoy retouching old projects of mine by adding new bits and bobs or by taking different approaches to the problem.

  • From an early age, I have been exposed to a wide variety of gaming platforms. I started at the arcades and through the years I came into possession of various machines, such as an Amstrad CPC6128, two Amigas (600/1200), a few Nintendo consoles (Gameboy, Gamecube, Wii), an iPod Touch and of course PCs (mostly Windows). Apart from those, I got my hands on other platforms, such as the Nintendo NES/SNES, Sony PSX/PS2 and the XBox 360 (a big thanks goes to everyone who let me borrow their machines XD).

  • I am interested in developing and playing anything with:
    - interesting gameplay or a good story line
    - an innovative take on the technology used (both hardware and software) or the interactivity/gameplay model.
